Independence, Confidentiality & AI Use
How we manage independent research engagements, confidential information, potential conflicts and AI-assisted workflows.
Professional independence and conflicts
Before accepting an engagement, KosovTeam Consulting reviews potential conflicts with existing professional obligations, relevant clients and available capacity. We decline work that cannot be carried out independently or within applicable contractual restrictions. We do not use another employer’s or client’s confidential information, and no engagement implies that another organisation endorses or is represented by KTC.
Scope, confidentiality and NDA
We agree the question, deliverable, permitted data sources, access needs and boundaries before work starts. A project-specific non-disclosure agreement (NDA) can be agreed before non-public information is shared. Personal data, sensitive information or regulated materials require a separate assessment of purpose, permissions and applicable contractual and data-protection terms.
Responsible use of AI
AI-assisted research may help organise public information, compare sources or prepare working drafts. Material findings and conclusions are checked by a person against traceable evidence; AI output alone is not treated as verified fact.
Non-public or confidential client materials are not uploaded to ChatGPT or other third-party generative AI services by default. Any exception requires explicit written client authorisation and a review of the specific tool and workspace, permitted data categories, connected applications, access controls, retention and relevant data-processing terms. A business subscription or a provider’s default exclusion of data from model training is not, by itself, permission to process restricted client information.
Clients can request a public-source-only approach or an engagement without third-party generative AI processing. The tools, data categories and processing boundaries are then agreed as part of the scope before delivery begins.
Clear boundaries for representation and publication
KTC does not approach third parties or represent a client without an explicit mandate. Client names, non-public findings and deliverables are not published as references or case studies without suitable permission. Research examples on this website are labelled separately from paid-client outcomes.
Discuss a project
If your organisation has confidentiality, procurement or AI-use requirements, please raise them before sharing non-public material. Contact info@kosovteam.com. These working principles do not replace an agreed contract or the website’s privacy notice.
